Protect our Troops: Demand Secure Minerals for our Military

Tell Congress: Hands off the Second Amendment!

The Second Amendment enshrines the right of all Americans to keep and bear arms. Yet for decades, politicians have been trying to abridge that right.

But Americans know: The Second Amendment isn’t about hunting deer, as Joe Biden likes to say. The Second Amendment is to keep ourselves and our communities safe. It’s the right that protects all the other rights listed in our Bill of Rights.

With the anti-Second Amendment rhetoric reaching a fever pitch, it’s time to remind Congress that the main duty of our elected Representatives is to protect our rights, not to infringe on them.

Dear Representative,
Keep your hands off the Second Amendment!
As a free American citizen, it is my right to keep and bear arms. The wording of the Second Amendment to the Constitution is clear:
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
Politicians and bureaucrats are not allowed to infringe on our Constitutional rights. Our Representatives are to represent us and protect our rights. We don’t answer to the politicians, they answer to us!
I am a law-abiding gun owner, and I vote.
I say: Hands off the Second Amendment!

Secure our Supply Chains from Foreign Adversaries

America is at risk. For years, we have allowed mining to be pushed overseas and now we are paying the consequences. We are dependent on minerals from foreign countries, including our adversaries China and Russia, to produce the goods our lives depend on.

Without minerals we cannot manufacture cellphones, computers, semiconductors, automobiles, ammunition and everything in between.

Sadly, America has weakened our supply chains by not advancing responsible mining projects in our country. Right now, there are 17 minerals we are fully reliant on foreign countries to provide.

Until our mineral supply chains are secure, America will always be vulnerable.

Take antimony for example. There is no domestic supply for this mineral, despite its importance to our national security. Antimony is used munitions, flares, precision optics, and infrared sensors. We need this mineral to keep our troops and our country safe.

You can help secure America’s mineral future.

Sign the petition below and tell federal regulators it is time to source minerals here at home. Tell them to start with the Stibnite Gold Project in Idaho, which would provide a significant source of the antimony we need to keep the brave men and women who serve our country safe.

U.S. Forest Service,

For years, we have allowed mining to be pushed overseas and now American supply chains are at risk. Without domestic sources of the minerals we need, American manufacturing and access to the goods we need for our technology, energy and defense industries is not secure.

Right now, we have to rely on other countries to supply us with the minerals we need to produce semiconductors, cars, solar panels, storage batteries, prescription drugs and national defense systems. In fact, there are 17 minerals we are entirely dependent on foreign countries to provide – including antimony.

Antimony is key to keeping our country and our military men and women safe. Sadly, today, China and Russia provide around 90% of America’s antimony. But it doesn’t have to be this way.

I encourage the U.S. Forest Service to permit Perpetua Resources’ Stibnite Gold Project, so we can secure a domestic source of antimony and strengthen America’s supply chains.

During the first six years of mining, the Stibnite Gold Project would provide enough antimony to satisfy 35 percent of our nation’s commercial antimony demand. It would also provide hundreds of well-paying jobs to hard-working Americans and inject millions of dollars into the economy.

Protect our Troops: Stop China’s Control over U.S. Military Goods

Right now, China, one of our nation’s biggest rivals, has dangerous control over America’s military. China is either the sole or primary supplier of a number of minerals we depend on for defense manufacturing. This precarious reality would give China leverage if there was an armed conflict and puts our military at risk.

One of the minerals China controls is antimony. Currently, the United States has no domestically mined source for this critical mineral. Antimony is used in munitions, flares, precision optics, and infrared sensors.

By not producing antimony at home, we are relying on foreign countries to provide us with the resources we need to keep our brave men and women safe. This is unacceptable.

We have an opportunity to safely and responsibly mine antimony in Idaho. A significant amount of this mineral, along with a world-class deposit of gold, still remains at a site that was mined to support our troops during World War II and the Korean War.

Mining company Perpetua Resources needs your support to advance its Stibnite Gold Project and secure America’s supply of antimony.

Sign the petition to tell regulators at the U.S. Forest Service we need the Stibnite Gold Project to keep our troops and country safe.

U.S. Forest Service,

America cannot rely on China and other foreign countries to keep our military safe.

Right now, we have the opportunity to protect the brave men and women who serve our country by permitting the Stibnite Gold Project and securing a domestic source of antimony. We owe it to them to move this project forward.

Antimony is used in munitions, flares, precision optics, and infrared sensors. It is irresponsible of us to rely on our global rivels to provide America with some of its most important minerals.

Perpetua Resources has developed a plan to mine the area safely and responsibly. The project will not only provide our troops with mission critical minerals, but it will also inject millions of dollars into Idaho’s economy, provide hundreds of jobs to hardworking Americans and generate the funding needed to clean up this historic mining district.

It is time to protect our troops. It is time for the U.S. Forest Service to move the Stibnite Gold Project forward.

Tell Congress: Get Inflation Under Control!

Inflation is absolutely devastating American workers and families. Costs for everything have gone up – energy prices like gasoline, heating prices for our homes, even food prices are skyrocketing.

Instead of doing anything about it, Democrats in Congress are raising taxes, increasing spending, and sending tens of billions of dollars in taxpayer money to other countries.
One report from July showed that the average American has lost $3,400 in income. For most of us, that’s an entire month of wages, gone.

This is unacceptable. The American people are hurting. Stop wasting money on special interest projects and start doing something to protect the American people!

Dear Representative,

Americans like me are getting crushed by inflation. We are losing huge chunks of our income, thanks to increasing costs for all of life’s necessities – like gasoline, home heating, and even food.

Yet Congress is busy raising taxes even further, spending even more, and sending more of our money overseas.

Enough. Our Representatives are supposed to represent us.

Americans are hurting. My family is hurting.

Congress needs to take on inflation, not spend even more money on special interest projects.

Can I count on you to help hurting families?

Securities and Exchange Commission: Enforce Clear Rules to End Market Manipulation

When the GameStop stock controversy made headlines, a surreptitious practice came to light: market manipulation—and it’s not about trading. A cottage industry of very wealthy billionaires regularly and without any repercussions swoop in, artificially drive markets up or down, make a profit on it, and leave others holding the bag.

This practice prevents individual people from buying shares that are being offered, only allowing businesses to sell, resulting in an opportunity for big companies to manipulate the price of socks.

It is supposed to be an open market but this practice prevents it from being open to everyone. For decades we have been told how important the stock market is, and how it supports the global economy. Doesn’t it warrant some oversight to ensure that trade on Wall Street remains free and fair?

Free trade is the cornerstone of capitalism and it’s being undermined by gamification of the market.

The whole point of having a stock market is to allow people all across this great country and all around the world to invest in businesses and help create that capital accumulation so businesses have the money they need to grow and to prosper.

This capitalistic ideal is being crushed by absurdly wealthy bad actors who are using the stock market as their personal casino.

We need action now to make sure our free markets stay free markets. We are calling on the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to protect our fair and free market by enforcing rules to end this shady, anti-capitalist practice.  Will you join us?

SEC:

Over the last few years, we have witnessed some of the most blatant market manipulation seen on Wall Street in recent history, yet there’s been no progress toward protecting the stock market’s credibility and its users.

On the contrary, investigative efforts have only been directed at individual retailers while completely ignoring those at fault.

Clear rules must be put in place and strictly enforced in order to ensure that the stock market is available to all and fair to all. Manipulation designed to protect and reward the wealthiest while shutting everyone else out is unethical, anti-capitalist, and threatens the integrity of our free and fair market.

Not only should we impose much-needed rules to prevent this practice, but we should also be investigating companies like Robinhood Markets and Citadel LLC for blatant manipulation against individual retailers.

Please step up and help put an end to market manipulation. We need your leadership to protect our stock market.

NCAA: Protect Women’s Sports and Female Athletes

For a culture that does so much to protect women’s rights, it’s surprising how many have no problem allowing for men to rob women of their prosperity and progress by transitioning to women to steal opportunities from female athletes.

Even more paramount than the matter of fairness on this issue is the matter of safety. Many familiar with MMA, might recognize the name Fallon Fox, a trans female athlete. Fox fought Tamikka Brents in 2014, fracturing her skull within the first two and a half minutes of the first round of the fight.

Biological men—transitioned or not—have an enormous physical advantage over biological women, making competing against women unfair and dangerous. It’s time to call on the NCAA to ban trans female athletes from competing in female sports. We have fought too long and too hard to offer our outstanding female athletes with opportunities to compete and make our colleges and universities

NCAA:

Last January you voted in support of a sport-by-sport approach to transgender athletes’ participation “that preserves opportunity for transgender student-athletes while balancing fairness, inclusion and safety for all who compete.”

Unfortunately, that decision does not do nearly enough to protect biological female athletes. Nothing short of a ban on transitioned biological male athletes from competing in female sports categories would do enough to protect both the integrity of collegiate women’s sports programs and the safety of female athletes.

Please take decisive, fair action and stay true to the purpose of your organization: to uphold “the well-being and lifelong success of college athletes”—including female athletes.
